FIELD: materials handling; cyclic alternate charging of containers from common channel. SUBSTANCE: mass and consumption of material in each container are measured, capacity of common charging channel is determined additionally and summary consumption of material and summary mass of material in containers are found. According to proposed method, charging of material into each container is carried out during time calculated by following formula where Q_in - capacity of common charging channel; T-duration of material distribution cycle; Q-consumption of material from its container; M-mass of material in jth container at beginning of cycle; -summary consumption of material from containers; -summary mass of material in containers at beginning of cycle; N-number of containers.
