FIELD: inorganic chemicals production. SUBSTANCE: aluminium-containing alloys are dissolved in 5-15% hydrochloric acid solution or in mixture of the latter with natural bischofite in ratio (0.3- 0.9):(0.1-0.7). Dissolution and hydrolysis are effected at 90-95 C at the expense of aluminium dissolution with no external source heat supply. Aluminium-containing alloys include 0.25-10.1 wt % iron, which gives rise to considerable increase in aluminium dissolution rate caused by emergence of iron-aluminium galvanic couple. EFFECT: reduced power consumption. 2 cl, 2 tbl
