SUBSTANCE: method can be used for treating drinking water in home conditions and at food industry enterprises and allows system purification of water from inorganic and organic impurities and toxic substances as well as from microorganisms. Method includes passing water successively through beds of coal material with rate 10-50 specific volumes per hour in respect to volume of coal material beds exposed to electric potential at direct current voltage 3-12 v.
