FIELD: powdery metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: copper-base caked material has at least one component taken from the group: cadmium, nickel, tin, zinc, graphite and has additionally vanadium at the following ratio of components, wt. -%: vanadium 5-15; at least one component taken from the group: cadmium, nickel, tin, zinc or graphite 0.3-3.0, and copper - the rest. Switching wear of the proposed material is (9.4-19.7) x 10-6 g/cycle. Anhydrous nickel acetate is used as binding agent. Before granulation charge is wetted. Charge creep limit is 5.0-6.8 g/s. EFFECT: enhanced quality of material. 2 cl, 1 tbl
