DEVICE FOR MOVING AND LEVELLING OF DRILLING RIG MAST BLOCK Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: drilling equipment. SUBSTANCE: this relates to bases which can be moved in assembled condition together with equipment mounted on it, for example with mast block when drilling rigs must be relocated from one well to another for cluster drilling. Device has double-arm levers with each of them by its smaller arm being pivotally connected with frame, and by its larger arm - with lower part of ram. Installed in middle part of each lever is wheel and its axle is fulcrum. Upper part of ram is connected with base. Wheels interact with rails installed on guide beams, and interacting with rails is frame when block is in stationary position. Due to action of extending rods of rams, levers are turning relative to wheel axes: larger arm of levers moves downwards, and smaller arm moves upwards together with frame of mast block. Simultaneously rods of rams exert force directed upwards to bear on frame. Frame is thus raised relative to guide beams on which rails are installed which interact with wheels. Device is provided with fixing mechanism made in the form of screw pair located parallel to ram. One component of screw pair is installed on base frame, and other - on lever.
