FIELD: oil-and-gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: drilling rig operation method includes drilling in the state lifted above rails, lowering on rails, engagement of wheels of the rig with rails and movement between wells by the rig wheels on rails. The railtrack is mounted on concrete blocks above ground at least 2 m and is formed from separate mobile blocks. When moving the rig between wells the units well alternately rearranged and the drilling rig is moved on rails between blocks. When drilling the drilling rig is placed in the middle point of pair of blocks on rails, the rig is rested on rails and is lifted to the height providing a possibility of contact of lateral surfaces of wheel ribs with rails.
EFFECT: performance improvement.
