FIELD: rock crushing equipment. SUBSTANCE: hard-alloy insert has front end-face surface, external side surface, cutting edge, supporting surface and recess located in front end-face surface. This surface is of flat circular configuration and is located in perpendicular to longitudinal axis of insert symmetry. External side surface is formed by side surface of cylinder of rotation. Cutting edge is of circular configuration and is formed by intercrossing of external side surface and front end-face surface. Supporting surface is intended for interaction with thrust surface of tool head. Recess is in the form of body of revolution and its longitudinal axis lies on insert longitudinal axis of symmetry.
