FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: cutter for cutting mineral and ARTIFICIAL materials has working head in form of body of revolution, cutting part of hard alloy and holder. Front end of working head has axial projection which forms thrust face. Rear end of cutting part has circular supporting surface. Cutting part is secured to the working head and made in form of circular member. Circular member is installed coaxially on the axial projection. Front end of circular member has recess and circular cutting edge. End face of axial projection on working head forms together with surface a recess in form of body of revolution. Length of axial projection over the longitudinal axis of working head does not exceed the difference between the length of circular member and the length of recess on circular member over the same axis.
