FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method can be used at underground development of minerals in rock burst-risky deposits. According to method, preliminarily determined are potentially dangerous sections of rock mass, location of blast-holes, type of explosive materials to be used and arrangements of blasts. After determining burst-risky areas, indicated is direction of deformation wave spreading in rock mass at period of large-scale explosions. Blast-holes are made in rock mass in the way of deformation wave propagation at side of underground working to be protected. Explosions are performed at approach of deformation wave.
