FIELD: manufacture of engines; devices for heat treatment of fuel. SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger has casing 1 and stack 5 of plates 6 and 7 located vertically inside chamber 4; plates 6 and 7 are connected in pairs forming interconnected sections 8. Plates are provided with holes forming passages for supply of fuel to sections 8 from intake chamber 13 and transfer of it to outlet section 15 from sections 8; passages are separated by partition; central passage 16 is coaxial to stack of plates. Branch pipes 36 and 37 connected to chamber 4 inside the casing are used to supply cooling liquid to and to discharge it from this chamber. Sump 26 secured to the casing on side of intake chamber is used for housing at least one electric heating element 29 mounted between inlet and outlet passages for at least partial overlapping of both passages in plan of their location zone. Contact plate 40 of current supply device mounted above electric heating element 29 at spaced relation to its central part is provided with hole 43 which is coaxial to electric heating element 29; central passage 16 is brought in communication with intake chamber of casing 1 and sump chamber 27 adjoining it through ports 33. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 6 cl, 3 dwg
