VERTICAL DYNAMIC PUMP Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: chemical, metal-working and other industries; supply of working fluids, coolants and lubricants at simultaneous cleaning. SUBSTANCE: vertical dynamic pump contains hollow rotor made in form of truncated cone and mounted on shaft; lesser base of this truncated cone is directed downward. Pump is provided with fixed casing at equidistant location on the outside of rotor forming circular chamber between them, fixed separating unit mounted on the outside of casing and revolving separating unit connected with rotor and mounted in its inner chamber; pump is also provided with discharge connection. Casing is provided with main and additional delivery branch pipes. Lesser base of casing is open and upper base is blind. Additional delivery branch pipe is used for communicating the inner chamber of rotor with inlet of fixed separating unit whose cleaned liquid outlet is communicated with rotor inlet. Fixed separating unit is made in form of two coaxial ferrules with spiral guide located in clearance between them. Revolving separating unit is made in form of stack of taper plates secured on perforated tube mounted coaxially on side of larger base of rotor. Larger bases of plates are directed downward and are located below upper additional row of outlet holes; interior of tube is brought in communication with outlet holes of rotor by means of discharge connection.
