FIELD: electrical engineering; stepping motors. SUBSTANCE: linear stepping motor has frame, movable flexible member contacting driven link in the form of rod, and two windings connected to switch-mode power supply; movable flexible member is made in the form of closed cylindrical chamber that has axial bore and is filled with ferromagnetic liquid; chamber is provided with internal cylindrical wall made of flexible material; driven link rod is coaxially and loosely disposed within chamber bore; windings are symmetrically mounted in frame around rod either side of chamber and separated from butt-end surfaces of the latter by means of flexible circular spacers attached to windings; chamber has adjustable axial stepwise displacement limiters in the form of threaded bushings turned onto edges of chamber outer surface.
