METHOD OF CLEANING VARIOUS SURFACES AND DEVICE FOR ITS REALIZATION Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning surfaces of articles. SUBSTANCE: method consists in excitation of pulsations in flow of washing liquid being pumped through feeding high-pressure gas into liquid flow and throttling the gas-liquid mixture at outlet. At point of delivery of gas into flow of liquid, cavitation is mounted on side of delivery. Constant high-pressure gas flow is fed behind cavitator and diameter of passage area of throttle is changed. Device for realization of this method is provided with liquid supply system and compressed gas supply fitted with check valves, guide branch pipe with two flanges for connecting the article to be washed and liquid supply system, as well as exhaust pipe for supply of gas. Exhaust pipe is extended inside pipe line. Cavitator is secured on this pipe on side of liquid supply system. Throttle made in the form of plate (nozzle) having varying diameter of passage area is fitted at outlet of guide branch pipe. Article to be washed is connected to outlet flange of guide branch pipe after throttle. In washing the pipe line, it may be mounted after outlet pipe line of liquid supply system and may be connected to inlet flange of guide branch pipe before point of mounting the cavitator. Cavitator and exhaust pipe may be mounted directly in pipe line being washed which is connected with washing liquid supply system at its inlet and outlet, respectively.
