FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to honeycombs for three-layer panels and shells applicable in space, rocket, and aircraft industries, radio engineering and other areas. It is also of use in low-scale production in laboratory conditions for manufacturing unique products with optimal physico-mechanical characteristics, in particular, for manufacturing high-precision reflectors of antennas, panels, and shells with invariable geometric dimensions (thermally stable structures) within desired temperature range. Method provides manufacturing new-type cellular structures by means of joining corrugated sheets preliminarily completely hardened and obtained from stepped roll cloth after its cutting and crimping resulting cut-to- length sheets.
