FIELD: measurement of total flow rate of fuel in internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: device has cylinder with piston, piston reverse valve gear, supply and discharge pipe lines and control unit connected with piston position detector and piston reverse valve gear. Signal elements are evenly arranged on piston lengthwise; piston position detector is mounted in center of section within which piston moves; length of piston is equal to half length of above-mentioned section.
