FIELD: investigation and analysis of gases with the use of microwave radiation, molecular rotary spectroscopy of gas and vapor atmospheres, for instance, for control of technological processes in situ in reactors. SUBSTANCE: method is realized by action on investigated gas located in cell with microwave radiation on frequency of molecular resonance, by reception and detection of microwave radiation across output from cell. In this case microwave radiation is used to act on gas periodically in the course of span of time , where Δωл is half-width of spectral line of absorption of gas. Radiation frequency of source is modulated. Function of frequency change F(t) is chosen from relation , where Fo is frequency of molecular resonance. Developed spectrometer makes it possible to establish and keep mode of modulation of frequency of radiation source specified above. Circuit to control modulation of frequency corresponds to and complements circuit of stabilization of central frequency of radiation source.
