SUBSTANCE: inventions relates to medicine, namely to otolaryngology, and can be used to study tissue metabolites. The test sample placed in the measuring cell is affected by radiation, the radiation is received and detected, the absorption spectra of the test sample are measured, and the results obtained are computerized. Before placing the test sample of ENT tissues in the measuring cell, sample preparation is performed, which includes dehydration of the test sample of ENT tissues. After that, the test sample of tissues of the ENT organs is heated and the vapors and products of its thermal decomposition are admitted into the measuring cell. The studied tissue sample of ENT organs is exposed to radiation with a wavelength from microwave to submillimeter ranges. In the process of computer processing, tissue metabolites of ENT organs are detected and a metabolic profile is built.

EFFECT: method and device provide the possibility of spectroscopic examination for spectroscopic analysis, allowing to study, including non-gaseous tissue samples due to preliminary sample preparation of the studied tissue sample of ENT organs and ensuring the detection of tissue metabolites - markers of the pathological process with the construction of a metabolic profile.
