FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the study and analysis of gases by electromagnetic radiation. Spectrometer consists of a serially placed microwave radiation source, a cell with the gas being studied, a receiving system including a detector and a signal processing unit, and a frequency source control unit. To the source of microwave radiation, selected radiation sources operating in other or the same frequency bands and generating radiation with frequency or phase manipulation are added. Selected radiation sources are set so that the radiation from all sources is reduced to one beam, and the result of its influence on the gas mixture being studied is taken by a single receiving system that processes the received signals of various frequencies and transient processes, taking into account the delays required for the relaxation time of the transient signals.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the reliability of the gas component analysis by measuring the gas absorption spectrum in different frequency ranges.
