FIELD: borehole geophysics, specifically, processing and interpretation of data of radio wave interhole and hole-ground inspection for revelation of boundaries of underground inhomogeneities especially under complex geological conditions. SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic field is excited in interhole space. It is recorded. Normal field for all recorded beams without adherence to condition of infinitesimal of radial component is calculated. In this case search for and metering of anisotropy are conducted iteratively for each component (polar and radial) of electromagnetic field. All geometrical constructions are carried out in plane ensuring minimal errors. Diffraction distortions are brought out to light and taken into account. Characteristic form and dimensions of object are determined, authenticity of obtained result is evaluated by degree of match of calculated tomogram with standard catalogue of tomograms and electric properties of anomalous object are determined. Apart from this various methods of localization of anomalies are used simultaneously which provides for resolving of internal contradictions of interpretation module. Process of calculation is conducted iteratively till specified precision is achieved. EFFECT: increased authenticity of calculation of commercial mineral reserves thanks to obtainment of more accurate outlines of ore bodies. 5 cl, 10 dwg
