FIELD: security devices. SUBSTANCE: method involves generation of car identification signals by encoding their license plates and subsequent continuous-loop emission of radiation in radio, optical and ultrasound bandwidth from car body. Check points provide reading emitted signals, their amplification, and comparison of received codes against codes of cars to be searched. Corresponding device has radio signal emitters which are located on car bodies and are connected to output of unit which generates car identification signals, and receivers which are located on check points and are connected to digital computer through corresponding decoders. EFFECT: increased resolution, increased precision, increased stability to noise. 2 cl, 2 dwg
