FIELD: thermal imager photodetectors operating as broadcasting standards in spectral range of 8 to 12 mcm. SUBSTANCE: array has image decomposing cells incorporating signal converting input device, storage unit, and retrieval element. Each cell has, in addition, controlled switch placed between signal converting input device and storage unit, the latter being made in the form of thermistor. Each cell may also have controlled coupling switch connected to output of signal converting input device; storage unit may have thermal time constant corresponding to frame time.
