SUBSTANCE: at the transmitting side, a primary signal is generated, a sequence of primary signal samples is generated, a first threshold level generator generates (2n-1) and (2n+1) threshold levels, the values of which are uniformly distributed within the scale of primary signal values, and then transmitted to reference inputs of a first and second sampling value converter, the sequence of samples of two sequences of the transmitted samples, which are transmitted over a communication channel to the receiving side, are converted. At the receiving side, the obtained sample sequences are received, a second threshold level generator generates (2n+1), (2n-1) and (22n-1) threshold levels, transmits them to corresponding reference inputs of a first and second quantiser and a third sample value converter, values of the first and second received sample sequences are quantised, transmitted to inputs of the third sample value converter, the sample sequence of the primary signal is reconstructed, the primary signal is reconstructed using a low-pass filter and then transmitted to the input of the information recipient.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of transmitting information.
