FIELD: medicine; orthopedic stomatology; splinting of teeth affected with parodontium diseases. SUBSTANCE: proposed method resides in forming retention recess intended to receive splinting element, followed by placing coil-like splinting element. Retention recess for splinting element extends horizontally and is formed on occlusive surfaces of teeth. As viewed in vertical plane of tooth, retention recess has shape of truncated pyramid, major base of which faces tooth's pulp chamber. Recess base width is equal to height of coil turn of splinting element which is made monolithic from superelastic material. As alternative embodiment, retention recess can be made in form of parallelepiped having horizontal retentive broadening near recess bottom, width of said broadened portion being equal to height of coil turn of splinting element. EFFECT: useful invention for treating parodontium diseases. 2 cl, 3 dwg
