FIELD: mechanical engineering and household appliances. SUBSTANCE: heat conduit in posistor welder is made of hard strong posistor material. Slide has electrodes in its nose portion forming combined posistor together with slide portion in between. Electrodes are arranged at both sides of slide nose portion. Smooth wear resistant heat conducting nose and stern coating with heat break in between is applied to working surface of slide. Nose coating and electrodes are arranged with clearance exceeding the length of electric breakdown. Stern coating is expanded to slide faces adjoining the working surface. Nose coating is connected with supply cable conductor. Nose coating is divided into two parts by longitudinal clearance exceeding the length of electric breakdown. Parts of nose coating are connected with supply cable conductors. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 5 cl, 5 dwg
