FIELD: mechanical engineering; protection of pipeline. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention can be used at hand winding of film insulation onto pipeline with provision of operation stability and high quality of application of film insulation to pipelines and welded joints of previously insulated pipelines with simultaneous application of film insulation and wrapping of pipes. Device for hand winding of film insulation has similar device arranged symmetrically at other side of pipeline. Each device has rocker secured on truck. Rockers are interconnected by braces of constant length. One of braces is fixed on plate hinge-secured on one of rockers to adjust tension of film.
