FIELD: cigarette industry, in particular, production of filtering materials for cigarettes. SUBSTANCE: optically isotropic solution contains 35-47% of cellulose acetate with polymerization degree of 110-210 and replacement degree of 2.0-2.7 and 9% of water in acetone. Cellulose acetate concentration measured at room temperature is less than threshold concentration of transformation from isotropic state of solution to anisotropic state by value not exceeding 8%.
