SUBSTANCE: fibrous tape made from coiled interwoven threads has several zones extending longitudinally of tape and at least one breakage line extending longitudinally of tape length. Tensile strength (daN) of fibrous tape with total titre (dtex) is at least 1.7 x 10 -4 daN / dtex at tension of 2.5 H. Method for manufacture of at least one fibrous tape involves providing tape with several separate strips formed from parallel threads; performing simultaneous coiling of strips to form at least one coiled fibrous tape. Apparatus has pair of movable rollers adapted for joint displacement of fed strips and coiling unit positioned behind pair of rollers and adapted to coil strips delivered by pair of rollers.
