FIELD: maintenance of motor roads; reconditioning of distorted hatch covers of underground service line inspection pits. SUBSTANCE: method comes to use of formwork made to shape and size of inner walls of pit neck which is lowered into pit neck and is shifted vertically to make its upper mark occupy position at required level of pit hatch to be restored. Formwork should rest on rod coating in good repair. Formwork is made of flexible strong material in form of round shell with suspended bottom. Pipes welded to inner side of shell serve as guides for L-shaped rods. Suspended bottom consists of round plate secured to shell and serves as support cradle for repairman.
