METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE OF SECTIONAL FOLD-TYPE PANEL Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to methods of manufacturing panels from curved shapes. According to method, V-shape cutouts are formed by cutting corrugations of curved shape by lateral and longitudinal cuts along corrugation ribs, except those ribs which are adjacent to outer flanges. Length of longitudinal cuts at each side of lateral cut is similar and corresponds to panel trimming angles, and edges of cuts are bent outside or inside along lines which connect tops of cuts, then shape is bent out along lines of lateral cuts up to matching of corresponding bends and then they are rigidly connected to each other. Created along length of curved shape are at least two V-shape cutouts. End sections of shape are cut along ribs of corrugations, except those ribs which are adjacent to outer flanges, and are bent outside or inside with formation of bevelled end faces. Length of longitudinal cuts of corrugation ribs is selected so that after bending of shape, bends of its end faces are located against each other, and polygonal ring is created in result of their rigid connection. Made in bends are coaxial holes which are used for forced drawing together of bending parts of curved profile. Method simplifies manufacture and reduces loss of material in form of waste. Stiffness of corrugation ridges at place of shape bends is increased. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
