BOTTOM-HOLE DEFLECTING DEVICE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2085694 C1

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: buttonhole deflecting device is intended for initiating and drilling of additional holes. Anchor is made up of body with seats for location of spring-loaded retainers and pusher having outer tapered surface for interaction with spring-loaded retainers. Body represents double-section tapered cone with fixing grooves for retainers in upper part of cones. Anchor body is rigidly connected by splined joint through shear pins with deflecting wedge and is in fact hollow cylinder with seats for retainers and release holes. Pusher is rigidly connected for example by thread with deflecting wedge and after pins are sheared can move forward inside anchor body. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 dwg
