FIELD: well drilling. SUBSTANCE: deflector with adjustable angle of deflection has three parts: couple and two skewed adapters. Adaptor butts has teeth as a part of toothed connection. Taper thread is applied to one adaptor, and straight thread to another. Pitches of the threads are different. Taper thread pitch is higher than that of straight thread. Threads corresponding to ones at the adapters are made on coupling ends. Attaching and detaching toothed coupling occurs when revolving the coupling at the expense of difference in pitches of the threads. When detaching toothed connection deflector is installed at required angle, and then the connection is tightened. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 dwg
