FIELD: oil and gas industry. SUBSTANCE: device is used for gas-geochemical investigations of aeration zone in ecological surveying at gas storages, in prospecting - reconnaissance and searching - evaluation stages of searching for oil and gas deposits in petroleum-gas geology and other branches of industry. Device for mug logging in auger-drilled holes during drilling has auger-type tool with continuous longitudinal passage and perforated tail-piece connected through swivel unit, filter unit, and gas analyzer with vacuum pipe. Also provided in device is depth sensor which together with gas analyzer are connected to microcomputer. All of them and also pump are connected to power supply unit. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 dwg
