FIELD: plants for burning high-sulfur fuel. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of fuel mixture with oil combustible shales into pyrolysis chamber 72. Oil combustible shale shall contain calcium carbonate in amount sufficient for binding all sulfur contained in fuel. Combustible gas and carbon-like sediment are obtained in chamber 72 due to pyrolysis. Carbon-like sediment is burnt in chamber 76 at air excess and calcium sulfate, as well as hot particles and air are obtained. Hot particles are returned to chamber 72 for pyrolysis and hot air is combined with hot gas for supply to combustion chamber 78. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
