FIELD: fuel technology. SUBSTANCE: fuel is dried in dryer 1, separated from exhausted drying agent in separator 2 and pyrolyzed in pyrolyzer 3. Coke-ash residue is burned in air-fountain hearth 5 and gas suspension produced is stepwise separated in separators 6,7,9 into solid heat carrier, gaseous drying agent, and ash-smoke mixture. The latter is cooled in cooler 8 and separated into ashes and smoke gases in separator 9. A part of smoke gases are recycled into ash- smoke cooling stage, concentration of suspended particles in the latter being maintained by varying recycling gas flow. Remaining part of smoke gases are burned in heat-recovery boiler 12 along with exhausted drying agent, and temperature in drying stage is maintained by varying intake of fume gases to be burned. EFFECT: reduced harmful emission and increased installation performance. 2 cl, 1 dwg
