FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: reactor has evacuated vessel, blanket segments with fastening members, and supporting structure provided with longitudinal ribs. Slots are made through entire width of ribs for holding lugs of side walls of segments. Through slots are made lengthwise of ribs to receive catches provided in side walls of segments for rotation. Supporting structure is mounted for displacement in radial direction relative to evacuated vessel. Threaded hole is made in rib from butt end to slot. Catch is mounted on shaft fitted with castellated nut having outer thread and placed in threaded hole. Turning catch is mounted on shaft through key for deflecting center line of catch relative to shaft axis. Horizontal depression is provided in slot wall on evacuated vessel side, its length being equal to rib width and its width corresponding to catch width. EFFECT: provision for compensating thermal expansion of supporting structure components and loads built up in blanket during plasma breaking; provision for replacement of faulty blanket segments. 5 cl, 9 dwg
