FIELD: devices for cleaning and drying compressed air; various industries. SUBSTANCE: separator-drier has horizontal cylindrical housing provided with inlet, drain and outlet branch pipes. Outlet branch pipe is sunk in housing. Perforated partition divides housing into two sections where filter elements are mounted. Filter element provided in section at outlet branch pipe is made from permeable metallic, ceramic or polymer foam. It is made in the form of gently sloping cylinder with tight bases. It is fitted on central tube rigidly secured on partition and provided with perforations. Filter element of second section mounted at outlet branch pipe is made in the form of stack of vertical plates made from permeable metallic or ceramic foam. Outer surface of plates is coated with finely-dispersed sintered metallic or ceramic powder. Sunk end of outlet branch pipe is provided with tight base. Both sections of housing are provided with drain branch pipes fitted in its lower portion. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 dwg
