FIELD: bridge crossing facilities. SUBSTANCE: floating conveyor includes hull 1 with cargo compartment 2, power plant 3 and running gear 4. Detachable extensible blinds 5 made from watertight rubberized fabric are fitted over perimeter of cargo compartment, port and starboard. On one side, blinds 5 are attached to spring-loaded axle mounted in hollow housing 8 and on other side, they are secured to counterweight 9 mounted in two retainers of lower portion of side 6. In working position, blinds 5 are pressed to side 6 by means of rubber cords 16; their length is equal to depth of side 6 of cargo compartment 2. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 5 dwg
