OIL SEPARATING PRESS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural raw material reprocessing equipment in food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: press has drive auger shaft composed of two parts 1 and 2. Part 1 has reception auger 6 and pressing auger having auger links 7 and 8 positioned in preliminary curb press 17. Pressing auger of part 2 is composed of auger links 30 and 31 and positioned in final curb press 36 so as to interact with conical cake thickness regulator. Cavities of curb presses are communicated one with another. Part 2 of auger shaft is secured on end of preliminary curb press, which is mounted for rotation relative to auger shaft axis. Coil pitch of auger links 30 and 31 is smaller than that of auger links 7 and 8. Preliminary curb press 17 has braking device, which may be formed as centrifugal coupling, with driving semi-coupling being connected with curb press 17 and driven semi-coupling being fixed. Part 1 of auger shaft and curb press 17 may be interconnected through transmission formed as free-wheel mechanism.
