FIELD: metallurgy, namely repairing of charge supply chutes of blast furnaces and other parts operating in conditions of abrasion by loose materials. SUBSTANCE: chute includes two portions: base and wear resistant part having protrusions with height equal to 0.3-3.5 of thickness of wear resistant part. Said protrusions are mutually spaced by distance equal to 4-22 thickness value of said part. Wavy protrusions are oriented in parallel with curvilinear side of chute and normally relative to charge supply direction. Maximum strength of chute is provided due to use of wear resistant layer made of material containing (%): carbon 0.5-1.2, chrome 13-20, silicon 2.5-4.3, boron 2.0-4.5, nickel - the balance.
