PAVEMENT REPAIR EQUIPMENT Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: road building and repair machinery; vehicles for transportation of asphalt-concrete and bitumen mineral mixes. SUBSTANCE: pavement repair equipment has hopper with two augers rotating in opposite direction and boiler for bitumen mineral mix installed on platform. Hopper has two covers and cover turning drive. Drive is made in form of two hydraulic cylinders some ends of which are hinge-secured on platform and other ends are hinge-coupled with L-shaped levers. Other ends of levers are hinge-connected with hopper covers. Distance between point of attachment of each cover to hopper and point of attachment of lever end to cover is not less than distance from point of attachment of cover to hopper and cover mass center. Angle of L-shaped levers is pointed towards hopper bottom. Hopper can be made with double walls and can be mounted on platform through intermediate frame. In this case ends of hydraulic cylinders will be secured on frame. Equipment can be furnished with load and passenger cab, and bitumen mineral mix delivery system can be connected with mix cleaning system. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 7 cl, 2 dwg
