FIELD: radar technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to passive radar for determining the bearing and elevation angle of a source of an a priori unknown signal. Vocalized fragments of the speaker's speech activity are detected, which have higher values of the signal-to-noise ratio and are contrasting to the signals of interference sources, and the measurement of the spatial parameters of AM telephone signals is carried out at these points in time.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement of spatial parameters of telephone radio signal sources with amplitude modulation (AM), including those with one sideband and partially or completely suppressed carrier.
