FIELD: abrasive descaling of rolled stock in conditions of rotating powder abrasive mass relative to axis of rolled piece. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes two coaxial sections mounted in row, provided with rotation drive and turned one towards another through gap. First section is in the form of sleeve having inner cylinder-cone surface and lengthwise grooves on its cylindrical and conical portions. Auger with cone-cylinder screw surface is placed inside said sleeve. Second section is in the form of changeable eccentric sleeve rigidly mounted inside spindle provided with rotation drive. Permanent magnets of opposite polarity are arranged on end surfaces of said sections turned one to another. Rotation drive may be the same for both sections and for spindle.
