FIELD: machine worn-part reclamation at repair, applicable in various branches of mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: an electrode wire is fed tangentially to the surface of the rotating part to be reclaimed. A strip is pressed to the part behind the arc zone by the roller, before the strain zone the strip is formed to shape by behind rolls along the arc of a circle whose radius equals the distance between the heat source and strip surface. Welding current is divided into two controlled flows, one of which is passed between the electrode and one of the bending rolls to heat the strip, and the other - between the same electrode and pressure roller. Welding bath is formed on the part due to the arc. The bath metal flows into the wedge-shaped cavity formed between the part and strip. The strip edges prevent sputtering of molten electrode metal. The shaped strips make it possible to obtain an equistrong joint in the cross-section, enhance the utilization factor of electrode wire. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 1 dwg
