FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes welding a metal strip to revolving part with continuous pressing of the said strip to the part by a roller. Note here, that a heating source is arranged between the part surfaces and metal strip. Note also that, in pressing, the strip and produced interlayer are subjected to flowage. The latter is carried out by passing current pulses through the roller. A plastic metal filler wire is introduced into a molten metal interlayer to be dissolved in the said interlayer, the plastic metal fusion point being lower than that of the part. Note that the content introduced metal does not exceed 5%. The welding over, the part surface is heated to the temperature exceeding that of Ac1 by 50°C and slowly cooled at the rate directly proportional to the carbon alloying elements content in the material of revered part and the strip. The cooling over, the formed surface is subjected to hardening to produced hardened layer with its thickness-to-part diameter ratio making 0.02 ÷ 0.01.
EFFECT: full-strength joint of recovered part and its longer life.
