FIELD: mining industry; applicable in roof support of development workings in tunneling operations. SUBSTANCE: the offered support has face, line and end units interconnected by rams. Each unit has roofing which consists of upper part and side lower parts installed on hydraulic props connected with supports. Rams are hinged to roofing of adjacent units. Hinged to each hydraulic prop are equal-arm balance beams made in form of springs. Installed on ends of each spring are rolling-contact bearings engageable with working floor. Parameters of springs correspond to its preset value of active support with raised support above working floor during advancing of support unit. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg
