FIELD: mining, particular, support of development workings driven by wide face and preserved for repeated use under the conditions of pillarless protection in extraction of two adjacent recoverable pillars. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes erection of metal frame support. For which purpose, drilled in working walls are hollows on the side of extracted recoverable pillar, on the side of adjacent to working of recoverable pillar. Then, installed between roof and floor is bracing member made of immovable and movable parts and having main plate on its end, and an additional plate which is coaxial to the main plate and located under it. Further on, one ends of coupled cappings are introduced into hollows on the side of extracted recoverable pillar and the other free ends of these cappings are oriented towards each other and located between plates with their subsequent pressing to roof together with lagging laid on them due to raising of plate and its fixing. When approaching the stope, additional hollow is made on the side of adjacent recoverable pillar to which one of capping is moved. As a result, erected in the stope-working junction is support with high bearing capacity as its operation during remounting is not disturbed due to constant reduction of support thrust in that time, that prevents treading of the roof and stability of development working increases.
