FIELD: mechanical engineering; rotary internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: rotary internal combustion engine has two coaxial rotors engaging with each other and with housing to form variable-capacity working chambers, rotor drive consisting of two trains with non-round wheels engaging in pairs and regulator engaging with intermediate splined bushing with screw splines installed on coaxial shafts of drive and changing the working capacity of chambers by changing angular displacements of rotor, one of rotor is female and forms, together with male rotor the compression and power chambers engaging with each other and with timing members. Drive of other rotor also has intermediate splined bushing with screw splines, and working member of regulator engages with both intermediate bushings which are made axially movable. Phase shift of one and initial position of other rotor are provided by shifting the bushings. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation. 2 cl, 5 dwg
