FIELD: measurement technology, including measurement of proportion of components in gas-liquid medium. SUBSTANCE: electric field is built up in analyzed medium by means of master electrode and receiving electrodes. Then instant currents within measurement time are integrated for each pair of electrodes, that is, for master electrode and one of receiving electrodes, and average conductance of medium between respective electrodes is measured. Proportion of gas component is found using results of current integration. Proportion of oil and water is determined from experimental curve showing proportion of oil and water as function of conductance, including gas component proportion. Device implementing this method has input voltage setting unit 1, master electrode 2, receiving electrodes connected to integrators 11-18, control unit 25, data processing unit 21, switch 19 connected between integrators and analog-to-digital converter 20, and nonlinear conversion unit 22 connected between digital converter and data processing unit 21. Number of integrators equals that of receiving electrodes. EFFECT: facilitated procedure, improved measurement accuracy. 7 cl, 6 dwg
