FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: washing machine has housing with branch pipes, partition wall positioned within housing and provided with supersonic nozzles. Partition wall divides housing into washing liquid bath and chamber containing liquid carbon dioxide. Conveyor for moving fruits is mounted within bath and drive brushes are positioned transverse to bath. Supersonic nozzles generate ultrasonic oscillations in washing liquid. Swirler may be mounted at inlet of each nozzle. Supersonic nozzles are arranged so that their axes are inclined in the direction opposite to conveyor movement direction. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 2 dwg
