SOLUBLE CHICORY PRODUCTION LINE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: coffee substitute production. SUBSTANCE: line has washing machine with bubbler, auger grinder with widening chamber, drying and frying machine with radio transmitting housing having perforated inlet portion, microwave source mounted on housing, auger mounted within housing, cutter unit, perforated spinneret at outlet end and extractor. All mentioned parts of line are connected in series. Extractor has casing with steam chambers provided with nozzle type outlet openings. Auger has cutting portions with geometrical decompression positioned adjacent to steam chambers and portions with geometrical compression positioned between steam chambers. Line is further provided with separator, boiling out unit, drying unit, packaging machine and liquefied gas recirculation circuit. Liquefied gas source, housing and grinder widening chamber, bubbler and washing machine housing, compressor and condenser, water source connected in countercurrency with extractor, and compressor providing communication between drying and frying machine gaseous phase outlets, boiling out unit and drying units with steam chamber of extractor, are connected in series with liquefied gas recirculation circuit.
